Alexis L. Cirel

Alexis joined the firm in 2014, bringing with her a broad range of technical and substantive litigation skills. Prior to joining the firm, Alexis was a principal of Karlinsky LLC and a litigation associate at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP. She concentrated her practice in litigation and dispute resolution, representing individual and institutional clients in a wide range of matters involving complex business disputes, contracts and commercial law, employment litigation, internal investigations and domestic relations.

Alexis joined Mayerson Abramowitz & Kahn in order to focus her talents and experience exclusively on the practice of family law, and to pursue her personal and professional commitment to the human element of client-focused advocacy.

Alexis attended the University of Michigan and the University of Michigan Law School. She is a member of the New York City Bar Association’s Matrimonial Committee, New York State Bar Association, New York Women’s Bar Association, and American Bar Association’s Committee on Assisted Reproductive Technologies. She served as a Grant Committee Member in 2015 for Men Having Babies Gay Parenting Assistance Program, and she has written articles published by the New York Law Journal and been a guest lecturer at the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts CLE program and the American Bar Association’s 2015 Joint Fall CLE Conference in Chicago. Alexis is admitted in both state and federal courts in New York.

A mother of two, Alexis lives with her family in Scarsdale.
