Alexis L. Cirel

Alexis joined the firm in 2014, bringing with her a broad range of technical and substantive litigation skills. Prior to joining the firm, Alexis was a principal of Karlinsky LLC and a litigation associate at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP. She concentrated her practice in litigation and dispute resolution, representing individual and institutional clients in a wide range of matters involving complex business disputes, contracts and commercial law, fraud-related litigation, employment litigation, internal investigations and domestic relations.

Alexis joined Mayerson Abramowitz & Kahn eager to focus her talents and experience exclusively on the practice of family law, and to pursue her personal and professional commitment to establishing and protecting the rights of clients involved in Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART).

When she is not practicing law Alexis, her husband, and young son Cade are busy maintaining an island of Red Sox Nation in a sea of Yankee fans. When time permits, Alexis also tries to keep up with the exploits of fictional detectives Elvis Cole and Harry Bosch.

Alexis attended the University of Michigan and the University of Michigan Law School. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association, New York Women’s Bar Association (Women’s Health and Reproductive Rights Committee), American Bar Association’s Committee on Assisted Reproductive Technologies, New York City Bar Association, the LGBT Bar Association of Greater New York, and served as a Grant Committee Member in 2015 for Men Having Babies Gay Parenting Assistance Program.
